The Kansas State women's basketball team has officially signed Brandie Harrod, a four-star prospect for the 2025-26 season, the team announced.
Harrod, a 6-foot-1-inch forward from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is the No. 42 prospect in the nation and the No. 7 prospect in Oklahoma, according to 247Sports.
She was originally committed to Auburn but changed her pledge to the Wildcats following a coaching change. Harrod’s decision marks a significant addition to the team as they continue to build for the future.

At Putnam City North, Harrod averaged 19 points, nine rebounds, and six assists per game.
During her senior season, she helped the Panthers win the school's first girls' basketball state title, while averaging 13.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 2.5 assists, according to KStateSports.com.
She brings a well-rounded game and huge potential to the roster.
Harrod will join a women's team that also recently added Australian guard Tess Heal via the transfer portal. The team has dded Aniya Foy, a four-star guard, and Gina Garcia Safont, a Spanish national point guard, along with highly touted five-star guard Jordan Speiser. These new recruits will all contribute to a growing, talented roster.
The Wildcats finished last season with a 28-8 record, including a 13-5 mark in Big 12 play, tying for fourth place despite entering the year as preseason favorites.
They went 17-1 at home and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament, where they fell to USC, 67-61. With Harrod and the new recruits, the team is poised to keep the success going in upcoming seasons.
