The Kansas State men's basketball transfer portal madness continues, this time out of the Big East Conference. Right in line with Casey Alexander's promises, he's another young talent.
Georgetown transfer Isaiah Abraham commits to Kansas State men's basketball
Isaiah Abraham is another former four-star recruit, having played his last two seasons with both UConn and Georgetown. During the 2025-26 season, he appeared in a season-high 33 games.
Abraham ended the season averaging just 4.8 points, but saw a consistent 19.9 minutes per game. As a sophomore, he averaged 2.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists.
Abraham saw double figure scoring totals in five separate games, including a season-high 17 points against Coppin State in the Hoyas 97-67 home victory. He also posted 13 points against both Marquette and Seton Hall and 11 against the UMBC Retrievers.
His freshman season with the Huskies was the opposite, only seeing 10 minutes in a single game against Maryland Eastern Shore. He scored a then-career high six points shooting 50% from the floor.
What Abraham brings to Kansas State
There's a lot to unpack with transfers like Abraham, especially when he's already spent time at the Power Four level. Standing at 6'7", he brings a similar size to the Wildcats lone returner, Andrej Kostic.
Should he play off the bench, expect the same kind of physicality and three-point shooting. Put him in the starting five on any given night, and he could resemble the likes of Taj Manning's 2025-26 performance.
Where he'll end up on next season's roster won't be known until closer to time. Until then, he's looking like another strong addition brought in under Alexander.
