The Kansas State Wildcats are once again in search of offensive line depth after a recent transfer portal addition opted to move on before ever playing a snap in Manhattan.

Brandon Sneh, a 6-foot-7, 320-pound offensive tackle, committed to K-State earlier this offseason after transferring from Wagner.

Known for his physical upside, Sneh earned an 81.0 pass-blocking grade and a 72.4 run-blocking grade last season, according to Pro Football Focus. He also boasts an eye-catching 84-inch wingspan, making him a prototypical tackle build on paper.

Sneh chose Kansas State over several other programs, including fellow finalists California and Colorado. Reports indicated as many as 20 schools expressed interest.

He committed while Conor Riley was still serving as the Wildcats’ offensive line coach, but it appears that Sneh was unable to find a role in the new-look rotation following staff changes.

His departure adds urgency to Kansas State’s efforts to rebuild its offensive line. The Wildcats lost both starting tackles from the 2024 season—left tackle Easton Kilty graduated, while right tackle Carver Willis transferred to Washington.

During spring practice, Ohio State transfer George Fitzpatrick has been taking reps at left tackle, with Gus Hawkins emerging on the right side. Another potential contributor, John Pastore, is currently sidelined. He saw action in eight games last season as a reserve.

With Sneh on the move, the Wildcats will likely look to the transfer portal once again to bolster their depth up front.
