Every Kansas State Wildcat taken during the 2024 NFL Draft weekend
With the number of players Kansas State had going to the NFL Draft in 2024, the Wildcats were bound to have multiple players selected. Four players were invited to the NFL Combine back in early March. Three of those four were drafted with the the fourth being signed minutes after the draft ended.
Kansas State extended their streak of at least one player taken in the draft to four years. With the three players selected in this year's draft, the Wildcats' total number of players drafted came up to 154.
So here is a list of every player drafted and every player so far that has been signed as an undrafted free agent.
Tight end Ben Sinnott was the first player out of Kansas State to be drafted. He was taken in the second round by the Washington Commanders with the 53rd overall pick. Sinnott is known as one of the gems in this year's draft, favored by many analysts.
Sinnott will be a threat in the passing game with his ability to catch the ball with few drops. He will also be used a lot in the blocking game. He blocked more than most tight ends in the college and stayed with blocks well. The commanders are getting a great all-around player who many people have praised the team for drafting.
Cooper Beebe was the next Wildcat to come off the board on day two being taken with the 73rd pick in the third round. Beebe went into the draft as one of the top-rated offensive guards with the ability to play anywhere on the line.
In his six years at Kansas State, Beebe played almost every position on the line, including the center position, which is where the Cowboys will most likely use him. With a lackluster rushing attack this past year, the Cowboys needed to up their offensive line and Beebe is the perfect addition for. He has the ability to bulldoze rushers and open up rushing lanes.
Guard KT Leveston was taken with one of the last few picks by the LA Rams in the draft. Leveston was a big part of Kansas State's elite offensive line the past few years in the Big 12. He blocks well keeps defenders away from the ball and doesn't stop till the whistle, which is what teams in the NFL are looking for.
Leveston played the majority of his starts at left tackle, but played a handful at guard, which is where the Rams will use him. His ability to play multiple positions is another reason he is a good versatile player that the Rams were able to use only a seventh-round pick on.
The protection Leveston can provide to the Rams is something this team needs with an older quarterback who is known to deal with injury.
