The EA Sports College Football 25 game has been about for quite some time now and if you are like me, you have spent countless hours building your dynasty with Kansas State. Well, the experts on the game have also been playing in the dynasty mode and they had some fun and did 50 simulations to figure out who would make the College Football Playoff.
In doing these simulations, they kept track of the number of times each team made the playoff and Kansas State made it more than once.
In 50 simulations, Kansas State made it to the playoff 11 times, the third most of any team in the Big 12 behind Utah and Oklahoma State. Now when the simulations continued and they looked at who would be the National Champion, unfortunately, K-State did not have any National Championships.
This is Kansas State's best opportunity this season for them to make the College Football Playoff. The playoff is expanding to 12 teams this season and with the Wildcats being projected to finish second in the Big 12, they could be looking at an at-large bid or even the automatic bid if they win the conference.
All the talk this offseason has been about Avery Johnson and what he will do as the full-time starter for the Wildcats. However, there is more to this team than just Johnson as he has quite a few weapons around him.
No one should forget DJ Giddens and what he brings to the table along with a wide receiver group that is coming together nicely. Johnson is going to lead this team for years to come as long as he stays at Kansas State, so this could just be the start of K-State's potential reign in the Big 12.
