It seems like every week the Big 12 men's basketball standings are different. Texas Tech was at the top for a while, but now Houston has taken that spot. Kansas, who has run this conference for decades, is in fourth place and not even the top seed.
With four new members in the conference, it has shaken things up and as a basketball fan, I must say it is fun to watch. The teams that were favored in this conference are scattered throughout the conference standings.
Now for Kansas State, who made it to the Elite Eight last year in Jerome Tang's first season, the Wildcats are still trying to find their footing this season. While they started strong in conference play, K-State has now lost three straight and sitting in the middle of the standings. The Wildcats are going to want to pick things up if they want to try and replicate the kind of run they had last year in the NCAA Tournament.
