Kansas State and Baylor hit the hardwood on Tuesday in the Wildcats’ seventh home game of conference play. 

The game will stream live on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. CT.

Last time out: Wildcats fall to Houston 78-64

The Wildcats upended the betting odds on Saturday, losing by only 14 points to then-No. 3 Houston. PJ Haggerty led the team with 23 points, finishing the game as one of three starters in double figures. 

The team also removed the individual names from the back of their jerseys following the latest home loss to Cincinnati. 

Nate Johnson led the team with 10 rebounds and in assists with four. He also knocked down three of five shots from three-point range, and the team ended the game 35% from the floor after putting up 45 points in the second half. 

What the Analytics say

According to ESPN Analytics, Baylor is a 60% favorite to win Tuesday’s matchup. It is the first matchup Baylor has been favored to win since Feb. 4 against Colorado.

Both teams average 80 points per game or higher, the Bears weighing in at 83.2 points. Baylor has also given up an average of 76 points per game. 

Projected K-State starting lineup

PJ Haggerty (G), David Castillo (G), Nate Johnson (G), Khamari McGriff (F) and Taj Manning (F) are expected to start Tuesday night.

Marcus Johnson, Dorin Buca and CJ Jones are also expected to be healthy and available for K-State against the Bears. 

Andrej Kostic, another K-State forward, missed his first game against TCU after rolling his ankle in practice. His status ahead of Baylor is unknown.
