Kansas State has locked down its quarterback for the 2026 recruiting class, landing 3-star signal-caller Miles Teodecki out of Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas.
Teodecki announced his commitment Wednesday on X (formerly Twitter), expressing gratitude for the opportunity and support from coaches and teammates.
“After careful thought and consideration, I’m blessed to announce my commitment to Kansas State University,” Teodecki wrote. “God has blessed me with an amazing opportunity, and I’m excited to take my next step as a Wildcat.”

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound lefty took an official visit to Manhattan shortly after receiving the Wildcats’ scholarship offer and spending the weekend on campus.
Ranked No. 74 among 2026 quarterbacks in the 247Sports Composite, Teodecki led Vandegrift to a Texas 6A Division II state title last season. He threw for 3,290 yards and 48 touchdowns, completing 70% of his passes, and added four rushing touchdowns.
Known for his strong intermediate passing and polished footwork on rollouts, Teodecki is comfortable throwing on the run and improvising when plays break down—skills that fit perfectly with K-State’s dynamic offense.
Besides Kansas State, Teodecki holds offers from Cincinnati, UTSA, UTEP, Texas State, North Texas, and several Ivy League programs.
The Wildcats have a recent history of striking early for quarterbacks, landing Blake Barnett in 2024 and Dillon Duff in 2025. This time, the process moved a bit slower, but the offer, visit, and commitment all came together quickly.

Junior Avery Johnson returns as the Wildcats’ starter, fresh off a record-setting season with 25 passing touchdowns. Kansas State aims to build on last year’s 9–4 finish, including a thrilling 44–41 bowl win over Rutgers.
By landing Teodecki, K-State not only fills a key position but also signals a bright future for its offense.
