Former Kansas State head coach Jerome Tang could be back on the hardwood sooner than many fans expected. It won't be with the Wildcats, but instead, a homecoming to his former team.
Former Kansas State head coach Jerome Tang expected to join Baylor Bears, Scott Drew's staff
Tang spent four seasons with Kansas State, including an Elite Eight run in 2023. Since making a deep run his first season. He was fired "for cause" following comments after the Wildcats' home loss to Cincinnati on Feb. 11.
Prior to joining the Wildcats, he was an assistant coach under Baylor head coach Scott Drew from 2003-2022. Tang also formerly served as the team's associated head coach from 2017-2022 before taking the Kansas State job.
