Hutcherson, a three-star recruit from Atlanta, Georgia, previously held offers from Washington, Charlotte, Marshall, Georgia State, and several other schools. With Alexander no longer at Belmont, talks linking him to Kansas State are loud.
According to reports, Hutcherson is eyeing the Wildcats, but "nothing is off the table."
What Hutcherson could bring to the Wildcats
Calling Hutcherson versatile would be an understatement. He's a 2025 state champion, and is also listed as an Adidas 3SSB Champion in 2025. Hutcherson also earned 2025 Georgia 3A-A Region Defensive Player of the Year honors and was named AJC All-State this past season.
The 6'5" wing offers versatility, potentially stepping into roles potentially vacated by players like Khamari McGriff or Taj Manning, depending on transfer portal developments and eligibility considerations. As of publication, no members of the 2026 Kansas State roster have officially entered the portal.
