The Kansas State Wildcats square off against former Big 12 foe, Texas A&M. The Wildcats come out on top if these things happen.

On December 28th, 2016, the Kansas State Wildcats will travel to Houston, Texas to face off against some old pals; the Texas A&M Aggies. I’m not going to divulge in the last time these two teams met.

I still wake up in cold sweats over that fiasco. However, make no mistake, it will probably be reminded to those players everyday, in some way.

If there’s one thing I know, in Bill Snyder‘s 25 years at the helm, it’s that he never fails to prepare these kids. The ‘Cats WILL be ready for the Aggies on the 28th.

Whether or not they execute the game plan, of course, is entirely on their shoulders. Snyder and his staff can’t play the game for them.

Both the Wildcats and Aggies come in with identical records of 8-4. The Wildcats, winners of their last 4 out of 5 and the Aggies, winners of their last 2 out of 5.

Texas A&M lost to Alabama 33-14, then went on to only win 2 of their next 5 games. Who were those two wins against you ask?

The University of Texas – San Antonio (UTSA) and New Mexico State University. NMSU was the next game after Alabama. I guess if I were any team in the SEC, or any conference really, I’d schedule an easy win after Bama to feel better about myself, too.

They went on to lose to Ole Miss, Mississippi St., and LSU. Honestly, for me, I’m really not that impressed with TAMU, even with Trevor Knight at quarterback (more on him later).

Let’s just dive in to these two squads, shall we. We’ll start with the Aggies.
