Kansas State picked up a key piece for its 2026 recruiting class on Monday, landing a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Keegan Collins out of Canyon, Texas.

Collins, who stars at West Plains High School, announced his decision on social media.

“First and foremost, I want to thank God, my family, and my coaches for helping me along this journey of mine,” Collins posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I’m blessed to announce that I have committed to @KStateFB. RECRUITMENT IS 100% SHUT DOWN. #EMAW.”

The 6-foot-6, 275-pound lineman chose the Wildcats over offers from Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Arizona. He also held offers from Arkansas and Boise State.

Collins is rated as the No. 56 offensive tackle and the No. 101 overall player in Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite. He helped lead West Plains to an 11–4 record and a state semifinal appearance in just the program’s third year.

Known for his versatility and athleticism, Collins has experience at multiple positions along the offensive line. He projects as a tackle at the next level, with quick feet and mobility that make him effective in pass protection.

He becomes the sixth overall commitment — and third offensive lineman — in Kansas State’s 2026 class.

The Wildcats are reloading up front after losing both starting tackles from last season. Left tackle Easton Kilty declared for the NFL Draft, while right tackle Carver Willis transferred to Washington.

The interior offensive line returns experience, led by center Sam Hecht and guard Taylor Poitier. Veteran Andrew Leingang is also back.

The group will be bolstered by transfers Amos Talalele (Cal), George Fitzpatrick (Ohio State), Terrence Enos (Michigan State), and J.B. Nelson (Penn State). Redshirt freshmen John Pastore and Gus Hawkins are expected to compete for roles.

Kansas State finished the 2024 season 9–4, going 5–4 in Big 12 play and capping the year with a 44–41 win over Rutgers in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
