Kansas State is back for another week on the field, this time hitting the road to take on the Tulane Green Wave. The Wildcats will look to get a little revenge for their 2022 loss against the Green Wave that effectively squashed their chances at making it to the College Football Playoff.

This is a different matchup than it was just two years ago, with Tulane going through the most changes. To begin, Tulane has a new head coach with Willie Fritz making the move to Houston. They also have a new quarterback under center like the Wildcats do as Michael Pratt was taken in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Kansas State obviously has a new quarterback as well with Avery Johnson taking over the starter duties. The Wildcats looked better on offense in the second half against UT Martin and Klieman probably knows he needs to pull out some better play calls against a solid Tulane team.

This is an important non-conference game for K-State because their next non-conference game is against Arizona, which is considered a non-conference game due to a pre-existing contract between the two teams before Arizona joined the Big 12. Getting a win before the game against Arizona will give the Wildcats a lot of momentum into that game as well as into Big 12 play.

Today's Tulane vs. No. 17 Kansas State Game Details

TV Channel Information

As mentioned before, Kansas State at Tulane will be broadcast on ESPN, which means that fans can also watch the game on the ESPN app if they are not at home and need to watch it on mobile devices.

Fans with DIRECTV however, may want to watch the game at a friend's house and there is a current contract dispute between Disney and DIRECT that caused Disney to pull all their channels from the cable and streaming service.

The game will be shown on all other cable services as well as streamed on FuboTV. The game can also be listened to on the K-State Sports Network for all pre-game and in-game coverage.
