The running back position is an important one in the Big 12, and DJ Giddens is one of the best in the conference.

Dominic Richardson came back for his second season at Baylor. Before suiting up for the Bears, Richardson played three seasons with Oklahoma State, and in his final season, he rushed for 543 yards and eight touchdowns. Richardson rushed for 519 yards in 2023 and had just one touchdown, however, he averaged 4.2 yards per carry which was higher than he had in 2022.
