Way-to-early Big 12 running back rankings: Can DJ Giddens take a step forward?

The running back position is an important one in the Big 12, and DJ Giddens is one of the best in the conference.

Ollie Gordon II was the number one running back in college football last season with 1,732 yards in 2023 and 21 touchdowns. Gordon was a problem for every opposing defense, with only one school able to bottle him up. Gordon is in line to be the best running back not just in the Big 12 but in all of college football yet again. Gordon is a big reason Oklahoma State is favored to win the Big 12 in 2024. His rushing ability is one that has not been seen in a long time, and staying in college ball for one more season, he also helps his draft stock for 2025.
