Way-to-early Big 12 running back rankings: Can DJ Giddens take a step forward?

The running back position is an important one in the Big 12, and DJ Giddens is one of the best in the conference.

The Mountaineers have a very strong running back room heading into 2024. Jahiem White is set to be the starter for West Virginia, but they are lucky to have a one-two punch with CJ Donaldson Jr. backing up White. Both running backs combined for 1,640 yards and 15 touchdowns. White however probably wins the starting role thanks to his impressive 7.7 yards per carry.
