Overtime wins are always big wins in any sport. In this case, an overtime win against No. 7 Kansas is something every Kansas State student hopes to see while they are in school. This overtime win was the first one Kansas State had had since 1960.
So of course this was a huge win for the Wildcats and will go down in the Sunflower Showdown history books due to the magnitude of an overtime win. Bramlage Coliseum, or as it is more well-known as the Octagon of Doom, was sold out for this game and every fan got a show.
