Kansas State in 2019 seemed to be the team to finally make a run again in the NCAA Tournament. A big highlight of that season was this win over Kansas, the first win in four years. This win snapped an eight-game losing streak against Kansas.
A team that was led by Barry Brown Jr. and Dean Wade, who is currently playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, brought down the high and mighty Jayhawks. Brown and Wade combined for 30 points in this game. The Wildcats were down by three going into halftime and coming out of halftime, Kansas State outscored the Jayhawks by 10 to get the seven-point win.
This was one of the best teams Kansas State had had in years with the senior trio of Brown, Wade, and Xavier Sneed. Any Kansas State team that takes down Kansas is a really good Kansas State team.
