Kansas State is set to take on Oklahoma State this week, and something everyone has talked about, even the ESPN College Gameday crew, is how Kansas State will respond after such a tough loss to BYU last week.

Even though Oklahoma State is ranked higher and is a team that has been a thorn in the Wildcats' side, a lot of people are taking Kansas State in this matchup, including everyone on the ESPN College Gameday crew.

That is right, let's hope no one saved the graphic showing that everyone picked the Wildcats because that is all the cowboys need as fuel for this game.

This is going to be a tight game yet again, just like this matchup always seems to be. Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon has struggled so far this season after leading the FBS in rushing yards in 2023. He is averaging just a little over three yards per carry, and the Kansas State defense is allowing a little over three yards per carry to opposing running backs.

This game will come down to which offense can make a better comeback after tough losses the week prior. this is a big game for both teams as well as with a second loss, their Big 12 title game hopes and College Football Playoff hopes dwindle to almost zero.

The gameday crew believes Kansas State will have a better bounce back than Oklahoma State does, and the Wildcats are hoping to be the final nail in the Cowboys' coffin this season. The Wildcats will have to fight for everything the rest of the season, and it all starts today.
