Defensive End: Darren Howard (1996-1999)

Darren Howard, a member of Kansas State's Ring of Honor, is one of K-State's best defensive players. Howard holds the K-State all-time sacks record with 29.5 sacks as a Wildcat.

Howard was a second-round draft pick for the New Orleans Saints in the 2000 NFL Draft. Howard played for the Saints for six seasons before joining the Eagles for his final four seasons before retiring in 2009. He racked up 67 career sacks and 16 forced fumbles.

Howard would be a great addition to any defense, but we are happy to take him for the wildcat defense.
