Jordy Nelson is known for how he came to K-State as a walk-on and made an immediate name for himself. Not many walk-ons go on to become Super Bowl Champions and one of the best wide receivers in the league, but Nelson did just that.

Before he was a star in the NFL however, Nelson was a star at Kansas State and his career stats show it. On the K-State receiving leaderboards, Nelson is ranked third in receptions with 206, third in receiving yards with 2,822 yards, and fourth in receiving touchdowns with 20.

Nelson could have probably had even better stats if he had stayed with Kansas State for one more season, but he made the choice to declare for the NFL Draft after three seasons. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft and went on to have an amazing NFL career.
