John Hubert. 463. K-State best RBs. . 2010-2013. . John Hubert. player. . RB

John Hubert took over the starting job as running back after the departure of Daniel Thomas in 2011. Hubert was a part of that amazing 2012 team that almost made it to the National Championship and was even ranked No. 1 in the country for some time.

Hubert is third on the all-time rushing yard list for Kansas State with 2,993 yards, just seven yards short of 3,000. Even in 2011, Hubert got a lot of touches and recorded 970 yards and three touchdowns. However, his touchdowns went up in 2012 and 2013 when he had 15 in 2012 and 13 in 2013.

Hubert was known for being the littlest guy on the field who was able to break through small holes in the defensive line and then turn on the jets in the second phase. Hubert's size and speed are what made him so great for the Wildcats in his career.
