12-6, 6-2 Big 12. . . 461. . . 6. big 12 . .

The last team on this prediction list is Iowa State. The Cyclones are also a team that lost more non-conference games but has come into conference play and surprised people. Iowa State was picked to finish behind Oklahoma in the preseason Big 12 poll, so it's only fitting that they are also behind Oklahoma in the current Big 12 rankings.

The Cyclones are an interesting team. They have a middle-of-the-pack offense ranking No. 6 in the Big 12, but their defense is close to the bottom of the Big 12 rankings coming in at No. 12. With only losses so far, the Cyclones can make a run to make it to the tournament.

With two games against Kansas State and a game against Texas and West Virginia, Iowa State can make a case for making into the tournament, especially if they can take down either Texas or Kansas State.
