Predicting how many Big 12 teams will make the NCAA Women's Tournament

About a month away from the NCAA Women's Tournament, Kansas State stands alone as the only undefeated team in conference play, they seem like a lock for the tournament. So who else looks like they could have a shot at the big dance?

West Virginia is the last currently ranked team on this list. the Mountaineers are 16-2 overall and 5-2 in Big 12 conference play. Like Texas and Baylor, West Virginia also came into conference play undefeated. This conference has just absolutely beaten each other up.

The Mountaineers make a strong case for the tournament by going undefeated before conference play. They are also a very balanced team with the No. 3 ranked offense and No. 2 ranked defense in the Big 12. the Mountaineers average 78.0 points per game while only allowing 54.6 points per game.

The Mountaineers have a real shot at making the NCAA tournament. Their biggest challenge still has yet to come as they still have to play Baylor twice and at Kansas State. I am going to say even with those giants still left on their schedule they will be making the tournament.
