Predicting how many Big 12 teams will make the NCAA Women's Tournament

About a month away from the NCAA Women's Tournament, Kansas State stands alone as the only undefeated team in conference play, they seem like a lock for the tournament. So who else looks like they could have a shot at the big dance?

Big 12 basketball is just as competitive on the women's side as it is on the men's side. Every year Baylor and Texas seem to be in the mix for winning the Big 12 and locks for the tournament. However, there seems to be a new sheriff in town and they are ready to run it.

Kansas State has taken over the Big 12 and is not looking back. The Wildcats are first in the conference with a 19-1 overall record and an 8-0 conference record. So far they have taken down Caitlyn Clark and the Hawkeyes on their first meeting, falling to them in their second meeting, No. 10 ranked Texas and No. 13 ranked Baylor. When they beat Baylor, they did it without their leading scorer Ayoke Lee, who is out with an ankle injury for the next four weeks.

So who else is dominating in the Big 12 and could threaten the Wildcats? There are currently four ranked teams in the Big 12, No. 4 Kansas State, No. 10 Texas, No. 13 Baylor, and No. 24 West Virginia. All of these teams have played well this season, obviously because they are ranked, but who isn't ranked that has a chance at the tournament? Here are my predictions on who will make the Big 12 tournament.
