The Big 12 is like the big house of college basketball. It seems like this conference has the best teams right now and they are all just beating each other up. Kansas, who has run the league every year going into the Bill Self Invitational, or as it's better known as the Big 12 Tournament, does not look as strong as they do. Houston came in undefeated but now has two losses, and somehow Texas Tech is leading the conference.

In 2023, seven Big 12 teams made it to the NCAA Tournament. With the addition of BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, and UCF, the Big 12 has a chance to have even more teams make the tournament. Some teams seem like a lock already like Kansas and Houston just based on where they are in the rankings and their history of play.

With week four of conference play wrapping up, teams will have six weeks to make their case to make the NCAA Tournament. There are currently seven Big 12 schools ranked in the top 25, but how many of them can hold their ranking long enough to make it to the tournament?
