Texas Tech has done well in the transfer portal so far. While they haven't brought a lot of guys in, they have brought in positions that were needed. The Red Raiders so far have brought in two four-star recruits and 10 three-star recruits, however, they have lost 17 players to portal, a number of them to other Big 12 teams.

The Red Raiders brought in four wide receivers which will bring more firepower to an offense that struggled to score consistently. Texas Tech needs to be more consistent on offense in 2024 and four wide receivers and three offensive linemen will help with that.
