Ever since Gus Malzahn arrived in Orlando, UCF seems like the premiere spot for players to transfer to. Malzahn this year has brought in 16 transfers, all of them 3-star athletes. However, the Knights are losing a lot of players to graduation and they also lost 15 guys to the portal. UCF brought in four guys from other Big 12 schools, three of them from rival Cincinnati.

John Rhys Plumlee came to UCF from Ole Miss two years ago and Malzahn made him the star for the Knights offense and now he is working to get into the NFL. This year the Knights brought in KJ Jefferson from Arkansas and with running back RJ Harvey and wide receiver Kobe Hudson staying, this could be one of the best pickups for UCF.

The Knights are also bringing in 3 speedy wide receivers to help run all over the field along with four linebackers which has been a revolving door position in past years.. UCF was the only Big 12 newcomer in 2023 to become bowl-eligible and I think they just might find themselves in the Big 12 championship game is they play their cards right, and so far I think they are.
