TCU's 2023 season was a far cry from who they were in 2022. The Horned Frogs went from playing in the National Championship in 2022 to a 5-7 season in 2023 and not even making a bowl game. TCU however went out in the fall transfer portal and got 19 guys to come to Fort Worth, and only ended up losing 11 guys to the portal itself.

The Horned Frogs are bringing in 18 3-star transfers and that is nothing to turn your nose up at. Sure they don't have the flashy numbers bringing in only one 4-star recruit, but they are bringing in people after a tough season and that is what matters.

TCU is also bringing in seven defensive backs which will help after their defense allowed over 20 points to all but two Big 12 opponents in 2023. The Horned Frogs are also bringing in three wide receivers which will be helpful in a passing game that was down in 2023.
