Head coach Deion Sanders, known as Prime Time, has done the hard work this offseason to bring in guys to Colorado. The Buffaloes are welcoming in seven 4-star transfers and 17 3-star transfers. Out of those 24 commits, six of them have come from other Big 12 schools. Colorado did lose 13 of their own guys to the transfer portal.

So Colorado obviously gets the top spot simply due to the number of commits they got, but also because they got seven 4-star commits and the highest any other school in the Big 12 got was two. After coach Prime took over at Colorado, the Buffaloes received 51 new transfers, while they haven't gotten that many this year, they have at least gotten almost half that amount.

The 2024 transfer portal class is defense-heavy for the Buffaloes. Sanders has brought in 14 guys on the defensive side of the ball and 12 on the offensive side. The defense is highlighted with eight new defensive linemen.

After the coaching changes at Arizona, Washington, and Alabama, no players made their way to Colorado. With Boston College's head coach making the move to the NFL, players have 30 days to decide if they want to enter the portal.
