Iowa State went 7-6 overall with a 6-3 record in the Big 12. While the Cyclones got off to a slow start, they came together in conference play and showed they are a force to be reckoned with. Iowa State found diamonds in the rough throughout the season, especially int he running game.
However, bringing in only four guys in the portal, not a single four-star transfer and only three of the guys are three-star transfers is not good. The Cyclones have a good roster heading into 2024, but if they want to be great and compete for a conference championship, they need get more guys any way they can going forward.
