Baylor had a very low season in 2023. The Bears finished the season 3-9 overall, 2-7 in the Big 12 with their two wins being over newcomer schools UCF and Cincinnati. Baylor back in the day was once a force to be reckoned with in football

Baylor is bringing in nine guys from the portal and only ended up losing seven from the 2023 roster. The biggest loss however for the Bears is quarterback Blake Shapen to Mississippi State. Shapen was the starter for the Bears and will leave a big spot in the offense.

The Bears are going to have to redefine thier offense and it is going to be tough because everyone else in the Big 12 just seems to get stronger every year and Baylor just may no have that in 2024.
