Kansas State is set to take on their first-ranked opponent of the season as the No. 20 Arizona Wildcats come into Manhattan. This will be the battle of the Wildcats and the battle of two ranked opponents.

Both Kansas State and Arizona had close games in Week 2 and both teams showed some weaknesses. Kansas State will hopefully have the edge being at home with the crowd behind them, but anything can happen at any point of the season.

This game will not be played as a conference game even though Arizona is now a part of the Big 12, but due to a contract signed back in 2016 when Arizona was still in the Pac-12, this game will count as a non-conference game. This is not the only matchup like this in the Big 12 this season as this was seen last week when Utah took on Baylor.
