Kansas State football has had an interesting history. They had a lot of seasons when they struggled and it just seemed like that was how the program would be. Then, one simple move, the hiring of one coach, made all the difference.

That one coach was Bill Snyder. Snyder reminded Kansas State of their winning ways and what it felt like to be a good program.

Throughout Kansas State's history, there have been times when the team won a lot, again talking about those Snyder days. They have also felt those winning ways recently under head coach Chris Klieman.

So, to stay on the theme of winning ways, after looking at the teams Kansas State has never played and at the teams they had unfortunately never beaten, it is time to look at the teams they are undefeated against.

There are a total of 28 FBS programs that Kansas State has never lost to, so let's take a look at each team and the Wildcats' record against them.

ACC

Cal (1-0): The only time Kansas State faced Cal was back in 2003 when the Wildcats walked away with a convincing 42-28 win. With al moving to the ACC, this could be a possible matchup we could see in the future, but hopes aren't high.

Miami (2-0): Kansas State and Miami had a home-and-away series back in 2011 and 2012 where Kansas State had a big 52-13 win at home in 2012 and squeaked by with a 28-24 win in Miami in 2011.

NC State (1-0): Kansas State's one and only win against NC State came in the Pop-Tarts Bowl in 2023, Avery Johnson's first career start where he earned MVP of the game. The Wildcats played a hard-fought game against a ranked opponent and got a glimpse into their future with Johnson.

Big 12

Houston (1-0): Kansas State played Houston for the first time when Houston officially was a part of the Big 12. The Wildcats shutout the Cougars, but this team could be one that could find a win in the future now that they are in the same conference.

UCF (2-0): Like Houston, Kansas State will probably have a loss against the Knights at some point with both teams being in the same conference, but until then, they can say they have beaten UCF on two occasions.

Big Ten

Michigan (1-0): Kansas State and Michigan faced off once back in 2013 when they played in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and Kansas State walked away with a big 31-14 win over a tough Michigan team.

USC (2-0): Kansas State and USC haven't played each other since the home-and-away series they had back in 2001 and 2002 where Kansas State, under Bill Snyder, walked away with a win both times.

Pac-12

Oregon State (1-0): Kansas State and Oregon State haven't faced off since 1979 when the Wildcats defended their home and won a close 22-16 game.

SEC

Tennessee (1-0): Kansas State and Tennessee played once in the Cotton Bowl back in the 2000 season where the Wildcats won big 35-21.
