Kansas State football 2024 way-too-early Big 12 game-by-game predictions

With the 2024 college football season officially over, it's time for every "way-too-early" list to make headlines. Here are predictions of how Kansas State will fair in each Big 12 matchup.

As the runner-up in the Big 12 conference in 2023, Oklahoma State will pose as probably the biggest threat to Kansas State. The Cowboys have taken the last four of the last five matchups against the Wildcats.

Oklahoma State will be Kansas State's biggest competition this season. The Wildcats and the Cowboys will be the two teams poised to take over the conference with Oklahoma and Texas leaving the SEC. The Cowboys have been in two of the last three championships, losing this last championship to Texas.

I am going to give this game to the Cowboys depending on when it is played. If the Cowboys travel to Bill Snyder Stadium early in the season, I think Johnson will still be getting comfortable as a starter and the young QB will struggle. If this game is played later in the year I would consider giving this one to the Wildcat, but I will stay firm in by choice and say Oklahoma State will win this one 20-17.
