The Cincinnati Bearcats finished their inaugural Big 12 season with a 3-9 record, finishing last in the conference. The Bearcats struggled in their first season in the Big 12 coming after losing their head coach Luke Fickell to Wisconsin.
The Wildcats haven't seen the Bearcats on the football field since the 1990s, 1996 to be exact. In six meetings between the two teams, the Bearcats lead the season 4-2. However, as a newcomer in the Big 12, Cincinnati is still trying to get recruits while Kansas State has been recruiting in a Power Five conference for years.
In the 2023 season, the Bearcats were unable to hold a single Big 12 opponent under 20 points all season long while the Wildcats did it twice and scored more than 30 points in all but one conference game. I believe the Bearcats have more the learn in the Big 12 before they can beat the Wildcats. I will take K-State in this game 38-7.
