Greatest NFL Careers in Kansas State history
There have been several players to go through the Kansas State football program who went on to play in the NFL. Here is my ranking of the best Kansas State football players in the NFL.
Lynn Dickey was another great quarterback to walk the halls of Kansas State. He played at Kansas State from 1968 to 1970. He was drafted by the Houston Oilers in the third round of the 1971 NFL Draft.
In the NFL, Dickey spent four seasons with the Oilers before heading to Green Bay where he became a star. His best season with the Packers came in 1983 where he threw for 4,458 yards and 32 touchdowns. Dickey played 13 years in the NFL and retired as a Green Bay Packer.
Dickey had an amazing career in the NFL finishing with 23,322 passing yards and 141 total touchdowns.
