There have been several players to go through the Kansas State football program who went on to play in the NFL. Here is my ranking of the best Kansas State football players in the NFL.

Jordy Nelson is probably the best walk-on to ever play at Kansas State. The Riley County, Kansas native was a walk-on at Kansas State in 2005 and was a starter by his final year in 2007. He was drafted by the Green Packers in the second round with the 36th pick.

In the NFL, Nelson immediately became a star and a favorite target for Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Nelson did win a Super Bowl with the Packers in 2011 and won Comeback Player of the Year in 2016. Nelson played his last season with the Oakland Raiders but signed a one-day contract with the Packers to retire with the team that drafted him.

Nelson had 8,587 receiving yards and 72 total touchdowns in his 10-year NFL career.
