Greatest NFL Careers in Kansas State history
Terrence Newman played from 1999 to 2002 for Kansas State and was one of Bill Snyder's best defensive players to play during his tenure. Newman was not only a problem in the NFL, but in college too. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with the fifth pick in the draft, the highest pick since Veryl Switzer in 1954.
In the NFL Newman played 15 seasons on three teams, was selected to the Pro Bowl twice, and came in second for Defensive Rookie of the Year in his first season. Newman's best stats came during his time with Dallas. In 2011, Newman made the move to the Cincinnati Bengals, and then finished his career with the Minnesota Vikings before retiring in 2017.
Newman finished his NFL career with 42 interceptions, three pick-sixes, eight force fumbles, two sacks, and 879 total tackles.
