Any Kansas State fan will see this matchup on this date and know exactly which game I am talking about. This game had the largest sellout crowd in Kansas State football history with 53,811 people in attendance. This also marked the largest crowd to ever witness a sporting event in the state of Kansas.

The wildcats took the lead over the Cornhuskers in this hated rivalry with just four minutes to and won the game 29-28 in front of the electric crowd.

I was not even born when this game took place, but it is such an infamous game that I almost feel like I was there. This was one of Kansas State's biggest wins in school history as it gave them the ability to represent the North Division in the 2000 Big 12 Championship.
