Fill The Bill: The 5 biggest crowds in Kansas State football history
Kansas State was coming off a close road loss to Oklahoma State before returning home to take on the ranked Horned Frogs from TCU. After breaking the home sellout crowd record for that season that was set just two weeks prior, Wildcats fans from all around packed into the stadium hoping to take down a top-ranked opponent.
The Wildcats held an 18-point lead at one point in the game giving a sellout crowd exactly what they were hoping for. The Bill with all 53,671 people in attendance was rocking and Kansas State had everything going for them.
However, the Horned Frogs came back to win 52-45 in an offensive explosion by both teams. This would be a tough fork in the road for the Wildcats, now losing two straight, would go on to lose four more games in a row.
