Examining the all-time Bill Snyder team for Kansas State football

College Football Hall of Fame coach Bill Snyder had two stints at Kansas State and goes down as a legend at the school. So what would an all-time Bill Snyder team look like?

Collin Klein

Kansas State career: 2009-2012
Passing yards: 4,724 yards
Passing touchdowns: 30 touchdowns
Rushing yards: 2,485 yards
Rushing touchdowns: 56 touchdowns

Collin Klein did not go on to play in the NFL after becoming a Heisman Finalist in 2012. He played a few years up in Canada and then chose to get into coaching. He joined Kansas State's coaching staff in 2017 under his former head coach as the quarterbacks coach. He became the full tine offensive coordinator in 2022 and just recently left for the OC job at Texas A&M after the 2023 season.

Michael Bishop

Kansas State career: 1997-1998
Passing yards: 4,401 yards
Passing touchdowns: 36 touchdowns
Rushing yards: 1,314 yards
Rushing touchdowns: 23 touchdowns

Michael Bishop was also a Heisman finalist and was runner-up to Texas running back Ricky Williams. Bishop did win the Davey O'Brien Award. In 2023 Bishop joined his former coach in the College Football Hall of Fame.
