After 10 years of waiting, EA Sports NCAA Football is almost here. After the game was discontinued after its 2014 issue, fans of the game did not know when or if they would get another edition of the famous video game.
After announcing they would be bringing the game back earlier this year, EA Sports has been toying with fans' emotions, giving them just pieces of information to build hype for the game. The latest big of information has left people in awe of the game and sitting on the edge of their seats for the beloved game's return.
The games cover has now officially been released showcasing a trio of players from three top schools, Texas, Colorado, and Michigan. This makes every fan wonder for future games though, who will hit the cover next?
For Kansas State fans, the answer is easy. They would love to see young star Avery Johnson showcased in a purple uniform, hopefully holding a National Championship trophy.
Johnson is getting ready to enter his second year, however, this will be his first season as a full-time starter with former Wildcat Will Howard transferring after last season. Johnson dazzled in his one start this season in Kansas State's bowl game in Orlando. Johnson was even named the MVP of the Pop-Tarts Bowl for his 178 passing yards and two touchdown performance, lifting the Wildcats to victory.
If Johnson can excel in his first year as a starter and maybe even lead the Wildcats to a Big 12 championship and their first College Football Playoff appearance, maybe he can become next year's cover athlete for being so young and performing so well.
When will EA Sports College Football 25 be released?
The beloved game is now set to release July 19, 2024, but is now available for pre-order. The game is available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XlS. The game will feature players who have opted in to have their name, image, and likeness used thanks to the NIL rules and it will feature all 134 FBS teams.
