It has been a nerve-racking past 24 hours for Kansas State fans seeing whether or not the men's basketball coach Jerome Tang would be leaving for Arkansas or staying with the Wildcats.

Well, the decision is in and Wildcat fans can officially breathe as Tang tweeted out a video montage on X (formally known as Twitter) with the background song lyrics saying "He's not done with me yet," effectively getting his point across.

It seemed like K-State was going to lose Tang when nothing had been said by either Arkansas or Tang surrounding the rumors of him being the Razorback's top candidate. Many reports said the job was Tang's if he wanted it, but it seems like he has some unfinished business at Kansas State.

The race had been between Ole Miss head coach Chris Beard, who only spent one year with the Rebels, and Tang, who had only been a head coach for two seasons. Beard announced on Twitter yesterday that he would be staying with the Rebel, ultimately leaving Tang as the top candidate.

It would have made sense if Tang had jumped ship for Arkansas due to their NIL resources. Tang has always stressed the importance of NIL at Kansas State and how it helps bring athletes to the program. Ultimately Tang believes he has more to do with the Wildcats, especially after bringing in Michigan transfer Dug McDaniel just three days ago and now is a top choice of UNCG transfer Mikeal Brown-Jones.

Wildcat fans continue to keep that "crazy faith" that Tang constantly talks about a fan famously dons on his shirt, and it paid off. Tang isn't going anywhere right now and who knows what he has in store at Kansas State.

Next. Kansas State Wildcats. Jerome Tang will win a National Championship at Kansas State. dark
