Big 12 football schedule released: Who will Kansas State play in 2024?

Well, it is finally here, the Wildcats have known who they were going to play in the conference since December, but now we have a full schedule.

For people missing college football, this is what those fans have been waiting for. The Big 12 has released schedules for all thier teams. This will be the first season the Big 12 will be without Oklahoma and Texas and will feature four new teams coming from the Pac 12.

The Big 12 is adding Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah. This is the second season in a row the Big 12 is adding new teams to the conference. Every team will play nine conference games and three non-conference games. Arizona at Kansas State and Baylor at Utah are games that will fulfill preexisting agreements and will not count toward conference play.

So finally, what you have all been waiting for, here is who your Kansas State Wildcats will be playing in the 2024 football season.

Week 1

The Wildcats will open their season at home against UT Martin for the first of their three non-conference games.

Week 2

The last time Kansas State played Tulane back in 2022 when the Green Wave beat the Wildcats 17-10.

Week 3

This game will not count toward conference standing as this will fulfill a preexisting agreement between these two teams. This will be a matchup of Wildcats versus Wildcats in Manahttan.

Week 4

This will be the first time Kansas State will face BYU as a Big 12 conference member. The last time the Wildcats face the Cougars was back in 1997.

Week 5

Oklahoma State got beat in the Big 12 title game by now SEC member Texas, so Kansas State will look to dethrone the Cowboys and get revenge for their 2023 loss.

Week 6

Week six will be the first of two bye weeks for Kansas State.

Week 7

This will be the first matchup Kansas State will have against Colorado since the Buffaloes left the conference in 2011. Colorado won the last matchup in Boulder, Colorado.

Week 8

Kansas State and West Virginia did not play each other in 2023 for the first time in 11 years.

Week 9

The Wildcats will welcome back their in-state rival for the Sunflower Showdown and will look to get their 16th straight win over the Jayhawks.

Week 10

The Wildcats shutout the Cougars last season in their first-ever matchup. Kansas State will hope to stay undefeated against Houston.

Week 11

This is the second of two bye weeks for Kansas State.

Week 12

This will be the first matchup between Kansas State and Arizona State with the Sun Devils apart of the Big 12.

Week 13

Kansas State and Cincinnati did not face each other in the Bearcats' inaugural season in the Big 12. These teams will meet for the first time since 1996.

Week 14

This is the second season in a row that these two teams will meet in the season finale. K-State will hope to get revenge on the Cyclones and hopefully be playing for a spot in the Big 12 Championship.
