The spring transfer portal window is officially closed and the Wildcats made a splash with one big recruit.

Baylor struggled in 2023 with injuries and not being able to pull it together on offense when it mattered most. While the Bears had good comebacks like the one at UCF early in the season, they lack experience at quarterback.

The Bears did okay in the spring window losing five players, but they brought in three replacements. Every player they brought in was to help build up their defense, especially with 4-star transfer out of Arkansas Snaxx Johnson at cornerback.

Baylor could take a step forward on defense in 2024, but they still need help on the offensive side of the ball. They could play spoiler for other teams, but probably won't be contending for any titles.
