Big 12 football power rankings after spring portal closes: Did Wildcats get better?

The spring transfer portal window is officially closed and the Wildcats made a splash with one big recruit.

Arizona had a solid season in 2023, but they did lose their head coach Jedd Fisch in the offseason to former Pac-12 foe Washington. With new head coach Brent Brennan, the Wildcats will probably have a different look this season.

The Wildcats did lose some key players as they chose to follow Fisch to Washington, they also brought in a lot in the transfer portal as a whole. Arizona achieved 10 wins in 2023, and they can possible do it again in 2024, but their competition is going to be tough.

Bringing in four players from the spring portal, which is one more than the Wildcats lost, shows that Brennan has the ability to bringing transfers, which gives hope for a good season and a good future at Arizona.
