Houston is a for sure one seed heading into March Madness. It does not matter what happens in the Big 12 Tournament, they are going to be a top seed and are one of the most favored teams to win the National Championship. This has been one heck of a first season in the Big 12.

Iowa State and Kansas are going to earn high seeds. Right now the Jayhawks are a projected two-seed and the Cyclones are a projected three-seed. Both teams are rolling, but they have been prone to the upset this season. Kansas has struggled on the road and that is where the majority of their losses come from, but they did just get upset at Allen Fieldhouse for the first time all season.

Baylor will also be a high seed as they are projected to be a four-seed at the moment. The Bears struggled this season early in Big 12 play and were victims to a few upsets. Now back on track, Baylor has their sights set on a National Championship again, but they need to work on their consistency.

Texas Tech and BYU are teams that at one point could have fallen on the bubble, but they have played well enough throughout the season and beat the big dogs when it mattered which helped them to constantly stay in tournament contention. Both teams are projected to be seven-seeds and could be dangerous one they get into March Madness.
