Two weeks into conference play and the Big 12 is out of control. The most competitive conference is proving why it is elite. Here are this week's Big 12 Power Rankings.

Right now TCU is ranked No.19, but after a loss to Cincinnati and No. 24 Iowa State, I don't see them staying in the rankings. The Horned Frogs lost at Cincinnati, which okay yeah sometimes going into a hostile environment can be tough, but then they lost to Iowa State at home.

The game against Cincinnati was a close one, they lost 81-77, giving a Big 12 newcomer their first win over a veteran school in the conference. For a team that is ranked third in the conference in offense, they have struggled to keep up with other teams. This might be because they are ranked No. 11 in defense above No. 9 Baylor, who has also lost two straight games, Oklahoma State and West Virginia.

The Horned Frogs also lost a close one to No. 24 Iowa State, losing by one point 73-72. A tough loss like that, especially at home, can be tough on a locker room. Luckily TCU has a game against a bit of an easier opponent in Oklahoma State, a perfect opportunity to bounce back.

Unfortunately, when you lose two games in a row, you don't typically get to be ranked very high in power rankings, and that is exactly the case here.
