Two weeks into conference play and the Big 12 is out of control. The most competitive conference is proving why it is elite. Here are this week's Big 12 Power Rankings.

As a Kansas State fan since birth, it does bring me joy to put Kansas this low on the list. Yes, I know No. 5 is not that low, but based on how dominant the Jayhawks have been in Big 12 basketball, this is low for them.

The Jayhawks were stunned by UCF in week one of conference play. They went to Orlando thinking the Knights would be an easy win, but UCF came out and played the Jayhawks tough defensively, giving the rest of the Big 12 the blueprint to beat them.

This past week in conference play, Kansas looked to be back in old form easily taking care of Oklahoma State. Then they travel to Morgantown to take on West Virginia, the other team in the basement of the league. The Jayhawks went in a lost that game and it's not like it was a one-possession game, they lost by six. They allowed West Virginia, the worst offense in the Big 12, to put up 91 points on them.

Something is wrong with this Jayhawks team and they better fix it soon or else they will continue to drop in these rankings.
